Additional information:
The Edison pearl is a freshwater cultured pearl with nuclear nucleus. In general, freshwater pearls are produced by seedless culture, which generally takes 3-5 years to grow. The finished freshwater pearls have different shapes, relatively few are perfectly round, and the size is about 5-10mm. The Edison pearl, on the other hand, mimics the way seawater pearls are raised by implanting a nuclear mold in the mother oyster. Edison pearl takes 3-6 years to grow, which is longer than the three to five years required for a typical freshwater pearl. Therefore, the size of Edison’s pearls is twice that of ordinary freshwater pearls (9-16 mm in diameter), with a high rate of roundness and excellent colors and luster.
The price shown is for one strand of fully-drilled pearls, sold temporarily strung without a clasp. All the pearls were carefully selected by our pearl experts.
